Privacy policy
This site exists to take trade enquiries. It does not run a shop, it does not build advertising profiles, and it does not keep a customer database of its own. What follows is a plain account of the little data that does move, and what happens to it.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us, plus the ordinary technical records any website generates.
- Enquiry details — your name, company, country or port, buyer type, the product and quantity you are asking about, and whatever you write in the message.
- Contact details — the WhatsApp number or email address you write to us from, because that is where the quotation goes back.
- Files you send — drawings, specifications or photographs you attach to an enquiry.
- Server and security logs — IP address, browser type and page requests, recorded by our hosting provider in the normal course of running a website.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, financial account details, identity documents or any sensitive personal data.
How the enquiry form works
The forms on this site do not submit to a database. When you press send, your browser opens WhatsApp with the details already written into a message, which you then send yourself — or opens your email client. Nothing is stored on this website in between, and no copy is kept on the web server.
Once the message reaches us, it lives in our WhatsApp Business account or our email inbox, the same as any other business correspondence.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry, quote for it, and produce and ship the order.
- To keep the drawings, samples and references that a repeat order is built from.
- To meet export, tax and accounting obligations in India and at your port.
- To keep the site running and secure.
For buyers in the EU and UK, our lawful bases are performance of a contract, steps taken before entering a contract at your request, legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in running a business and protecting this site. In India, processing is on the basis of your voluntary provision of the data for the purpose you provided it, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who else can see it
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- Our staff — the export desk and production team handling your order.
- Service providers — our web host, email provider, and WhatsApp (Meta) for messages you send through it, each under their own terms.
- Logistics and inspection — freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and any inspector you appoint, where the shipment requires it.
- Authorities — where the law or a valid legal request obliges us.
Because we ship worldwide, details of an order may be transferred to the country you are importing into, for the purpose of completing that shipment.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are kept while they are live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to them. Order records, drawings and export documents are kept for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and for the period Indian tax and export law requires afterwards. Server logs rotate on our host's normal schedule.
Cookies and embeds
This site does not run advertising or profiling cookies. WordPress may set a small number of functional cookies needed to serve pages.
- Google Maps — the map on the contact page is embedded from Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies when the map loads.
- Google Fonts — typefaces are served from Google's font service, which receives your IP address for that request.
- Flag images — small country flags on the markets page are loaded from a third-party image service.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your rights
Whatever your jurisdiction, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it — subject to records we are legally required to keep, such as export and tax documents.
Under India's DPDP Act you may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf and may raise a grievance with us. Under the GDPR you may additionally object to processing, ask for it to be restricted, request portability, and complain to your national supervisory authority.
Write to the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period, and in any case within the timeframe the applicable law sets.
Security
Access to enquiries and order records is limited to the people who need them. Devices and accounts used by the export desk are password protected. No website or messaging service can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so please do not send documents you would not want an email account to hold.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the page and the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
Contact and grievances
For anything about this policy, or to exercise a right described above, contact the export desk. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may escalate it to the same address marked for the attention of the grievance officer.
