The stone the memorial
trade actually runs on.
Thirty-nine stones from the southern belts, quarried within reach of our works — the blacks, greys and whites that Russian workshops, European dealers and American cemeteries specify by name. Dense, low-porosity, and able to hold an engraved line through freeze-thaw winters.
Six that carry
most of the containers.
If you are starting from scratch, start here. We hold blocks against these and they run through nearly every memorial order we ship.
The southern range
Every stone in the catalogue from the Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana belts.
Southern granite runs a finer, tighter crystal than the northern stones. That is what lets it take a mirror polish, hold a sandblasted letter edge and survive being washed every spring for thirty years.
What we cut
from these stones.
Eight product families off the same block runs. Order the monument, the niche fronts and the vases together and the whole job stays one shade.
Shortlist three or four,
and we will courier the samples.
