United States — Bronze memorial products

Bronze reads best
on granite cut for it.

Flush markers, niche and crypt plates, wall plaques and cast letters. The granite is ours — cut, polished, rebated and drilled to the plate. The bronze is either cast to your artwork through our foundry partners, or you send the plate you already buy and we make the base fit it exactly.

How the plate
meets the stone.

This detail decides how the marker survives twenty years of mowers, frost and cleaning. Four ways we cut it — tell us which your cemeteries specify.

Rebated flush DetailMilled rebate Plate drops into a milled recess and finishes level with the granite face. Cleanest line, nothing proud of the stone.
Surface mounted DetailCast studs Plate sits on the face, held on cast studs set into drilled holes. Simplest to fix and to replace later.
Sloped base Detail15°–45° Marker set on an angled granite base so water runs off and it reads standing up. Upright reading in a lawn setting.
Mowing-edge base Detail3–4 in margin A wide granite margin around the plate so mowers never touch the bronze. Cemetery-standard turf detail.

Common US marker sizes are 24 × 12, 28 × 16, 36 × 14 and 44 × 14 in, usually on a base with a 3–4 in granite margin. Send the plate drawing with the stud positions and the rebate comes out right the first time.

Plate and base
fitted to each other.

Where we supply both, the bronze is offered up to its own base before anything is packed. Where you supply the bronze, we cut to your drawing and check it against a template.

Two ways to orderGranite and bronze together, or granite bases against your own bronze supplier's drawing — many dealers keep their foundry and change only the stone.
Rebates & studsRecess depth cut to the plate thickness, stud holes drilled and cleaned, with drainage where the detail needs it.
FinishBases polished, honed or with a sawn margin — a honed margin hides mower marks far better than polish.
Sloped basesCut to the angle your cemetery allows, with the bronze seated so water leaves the plate rather than pooling on it.
Emblems & vasesProvision cut for service emblems, turn-down vases and photo medallions supplied by you or through us.
PackingBronze boxed separately from the stone, fixings bagged to the base they belong to.

Send the plate drawing.
The base will fit it.
