Sandstone for

Seven sandstones from the Rajasthan belt, cut sawn or split natural. This is the stone that goes down as paving, pool surrounds, kerbs and cladding — warm in colour, grippy underfoot in its natural finish, and easy to work on site.

Colour is only half of it. The finish decides whether a stone is right for a wet pool deck, a driveway or an entrance wall — tell us where it is going and we will say which of these to use.

SawnMachine-cut face, calibrated thickness, square edges — the finish for interiors, cladding and formal paving where joints must run tight.
Natural (riven)Split along the stone's own bed, so every piece has a slightly different face. Grippy when wet, which is why it goes around pools and on outdoor steps.
Sandblasted & bush-hammeredTextured mechanically for slip resistance while keeping a flat plane and even thickness.
TumbledEdges and face softened in the drum for an aged look on courtyards, garden paths and heritage work.
EdgesHand-cut for a rustic line, or machine-cut where the layout needs a consistent joint. Both can be supplied in the same load.

Sandstone is porous. In freeze-thaw climates it is a landscaping and cladding stone rather than a memorial one — for headstones in northern markets we will point you to granite.
